Empire Salon is a booth rental salon in downtown Billings, which means the person doing your lashes and brows runs her own book, sets her own prices and answers for her own work. Lash and brow services here are provided by Chelsey Guccione, a licensed esthetician with more than ten years behind the chair.
Lashes
A lash lift curls and sets your own lashes so they open up the eye without extensions, and a tint darkens them at the same time, which suits anyone who would rather not wear mascara every morning. Extensions are applied lash by lash when you want more length or fullness than your own lashes give you, and they need a fill every few weeks to stay looking new.
Brows
Shaping by threading or waxing, and tinting to fill out the shape and make sparse brows read fuller. If you are growing your brows out, say so at the appointment and Chelsey will shape around the plan rather than take the length off.

If you are not sure which service you want, book a lash lift or a brow shape and ask her at the appointment.
Before your appointment
Come with clean lashes and no eye makeup if you are having lash work done, and skip waterproof mascara for a day or two beforehand. If you use a retinol or a strong acid on your skin, leave a few days between that and brow waxing. Tell Chelsey about anything new on your skin, any recent brow tint, or any reaction you have had before, and she will adjust.

Empire shares its space with Coco Chèrie Creamiez, a dirty soda and cream soda bar in the front of the building, open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 3pm.
